Proms Concert starts at 7.30pm
Pre-Concert Entertainment begins at 6pm with Haydock
Male Voice Choir.
For the last two years, superb entertainment and a magical
atmosphere have combined to thrill over 3,000 ‘Prommers’
in the stirring flag-waving and inspiring singing of
classic ‘Last Night of the Proms’ favourites.
If you like a good night out in a spectacular setting
with incredible entertainment, then come along to Haydock
Park on 16th August and discover the thrills and excitement
of thousands of like-minded ‘Prommers’ enjoying
live music, singing, flag-waving and even dancing.
Bring a picnic, meet up with friends, wave your flags
and enjoy the marvellous medley of music and spectacular
firework finale. Experience a thrilling night of promenade
music to rival the Royal Albert Hall in a fabulous setting
right in the centre of Haydock Park Racecourse.
For your own comfort, you may wish to bring garden
chairs, cushions or rugs.
Ample car parking will be available on the
Racecourse car park and your night won’t be spoiled
by lengthy queues leaving the car park. Haydock Park
is used to crowds of many thousands. There are unrivalled
on-site facilities, including car parking, easy access
and egress.
The concert will not be cancelled due to inclement
weather. In the event of rain some shelter will be available
under the main racecourse stands.
In the interests of safety, barbeques or naked
flames will not be allowed.
A Hospice appointed photographer will present at the
event and you may appear in photographs taken. The photographs
may be used for promotional purposes in the future.
If you have any objection please inform the photographer
on the day.
